Harold, Are you doing a lot of moving around between screens in the batch
job? Quick seems to have gotten the wrong screen id (that's what that error
is). Quick issues a new screen number every time you go into a screen as
it's unique id. We have found that some batch jobs which are going up and
down a multi-screen set for tens of thousands of records will exceed the
limit (32K due to datatype restrictions) and then the screen id wraps
around and you get unpredictable results. This might cause this kind of
problem. Switching between 32K screens for a truly interactive use of
QUICK is unlikely, but in batch, it becomes more possible as data quantities
continue to rise.
