I'm afraid the HOLD FIND option of the SCREEN statement is a unique (and
very useful) feature only found in the OS/400 versions of PowerHouse.
Apparently it was very easy to implement on OS/400 due to the way that the
file intrinsics work on that platform.

As Allen points out in his message, the behaviour seen is the standard
PowerHouse behaviour for all other platforms and would be pretty tricky to
modify.

We are trying to stop the blank screen appearing when the number of records
in the file matches the number of items on the screen (ie. There are no
spare Powerhouse ids on the screen). The blank screen happens when the User
presses the <Enter> key.
But, if you have say 12 records in the file and have 13 powerhouse ids on
the screen, pressing the <Enter> key displays the 12 records.

Does anybody know or has done this technique before?

We are using version; AIX PowerHouse  8.13.D2.
