I suspect someone has written a few small QUIZ programs to extract the 
ORACLE metadata that you
need. I have done it for ALLBASE and for InterBase. Cognos's new ARCHITECT 
does extract a fair amount of Oracle metadata as does the Axiant import 
facility.
