Richard,

Have an ITEM statement with the INITIAL keyword. It will only be applied if
it is a new record.

Subject:	QTP Query - add / update

Greetings listers . . .

I have a QTP that is doing an add / update to a file.
eg
access file a
output file b add / update

I want to be able to subfile the records that added for exeception reporting
(update is the normal case) so is there an easy method of telling if I added
a new record or updated an existing one ?

thanks
Richard Latimer
