Wesley,

Do you want the message to come back to the originating workstation or to the originating user? (Are your workstation assignments fixed? Ours change each day.)

Thanks.

Subject:	Sending Message to Workstation

environment: AS/400, OS/400 v5.1, PH 6.07d

I have an QUIK application which sends a record to a data queue which then
kicks off a transaction to an outside party. The outside party then
responds back to another data queue. Is there a way other than SNDBRKMSG to
send a message back to the originating workstation to notify them that a
return is waiting? I'd like to place a blinking message in the message area
without interrupting the user's work. Sometimes responses take several days
to come back, but we need to know immediately when the response arrives.

Anyone with suggestions, thanks.
