Hi John,

You can run Quick in 'green screen' mode if you wish. It looks the same as
it does on HP3000.

Quick uses escape sequences.

Quick supports the same terminal types as the HP3000 although many people
use VT100 emulation.

Yes, you can use reflections.

Subject: PowerHouse on HP-UX -- User interface?

Hi Everyone,

I have a real basic, probably quite naive question about Quick on HP-UX.

Does Quick still run in 'green screen' mode, or do we need to use x-windows?
Does Quick use the curses library to paint the screen forms, or just
escape sequences?
Does Quick on HP-UX support the same terminal types as Quick on the
3000? (i.e. can we use reflection?)

My gut feeling to the above is:
Yes, no x-term required.
No, just escape sequences.
Yes, basically.
But, I would appreciate confirmation of what my gut is telling me, as we
are going to become a PH on HP-UX shop within the next coupla years.

Thanks!
