Is powerhouse dead?

I understand that PH for AS/400 is a separate code stream - quite
different to the other flavours, and that's probably why it doesn't move
as fast.
But, since the iSeries runs AIX in the PASE space, wouldn't it be
possible to run PH for AIX (which I think has support for DB2) on an
iSeries together with OS/400?
Also, the iSeries can run LINUX in a partition, and I'd love to see a
Linux version of PowerHouse that supports either DB2, Postgres or
MySql....
I guess the less the PH users have to spend on proprietary hardware and
software, the more they'd have to spend with Cognos :)

Looks like it died due to a comedy-of-errors.
They supported the VAX platform, then it died, (it lives as a shell of
its former glory.)
They supported the MPE platform, now it is scheduled to die.
They ignored the AS/400 platform, and it appears to be going strong.
They're left with sundry flavors of *nix and Microsoft.
Was it not enough eggs and too many baskets?
Place your bets, OpenCognos anyone?
