Leonard;

If the ALLBASE databases don't exist, why go through the hassle of taking
the comments out? Why not just comment them out, recompile and go?

Just curious,

Subject: Inhibiting ALLBASE in QSHOW

HP3000 PowerHouse 8.19C

We have a large PHD from a third-party vendor that includes two referneces
to ALLBASE data bases that do not exist. Consequently, the command:

     SHOW RECORD PATTERN "@"

generates SQL START DBERROR warnings.

Aside from commenting out the ALLBASE references in the source,
recompiling, performing the SHOW RECORD, removing the comment characters
and recompling again, is there a more convenient method to have QSHOW look
at only the records that are defined within the PHD file itself?

Thanks.
