Migrating PowerHouse from VMS to NT

We're not pre-announcing anything. We've said for a while that we plan on
having QUICK on NT. The only question is timing. Current plans are to have
it available in PowerHouse 8.41. Current schedules (always subject to
change) indicate that it will be available in the summer/fall time frame. 

QUICK on NT runs in a Command box. Looks just like QUICK on the other server
platforms. Not exactly like PowerHouse PC because PH PC was specially
written for DOS and had a 25 line window. QUICK on NT is just like taking
QUICK from MPE/iX or OpenVMS and moving it to NT. There are a few interface
things like highlighting that aren't quite the same because they aren't
supported on NT.

And this is not an idea. It already works. In fact I was just testing it for
a demo I'm doing later this month.

So if you know anyone using PH PC, spread the word.

At the risk of asking you to pre-announce something, please tell us more
about how you'll accomplish the Quick interface for NT/Windows.

Very interested because my 386 with PH 5.11 is getting a bit long in the
tooth :-)
