A PARM value when no records are selected

Couldn't you just move the noreport statement from pass 2 to pass 1 ?
Pass 2 will then do nothing if the subfile's empty, & pass 1 will have
written the necessary noreport (with parm). Pass 1 will obviously need to
know where to write ...
