I highly disagree and that smuts of stereotyping employers and how YOU
expect them to react. My current employer said to me, '... well it seems you
have 6 years PH experience and no VB, Java experience what so ever, but I'll
hire you because [1] we do have PH jobs to fulfill and [2] you are willing
to try anything.'
So you see.... I think an employer will most favourably look at the resume
of someone that has a wide range of skills and be that not so necessarily IT
related! In fact my first employer hired me because I showed leadership
skills when I was a student union president!

Again I highly disagree, as per my above reply.

I feel sorry for you. You are limiting your scopes and you are the only one
to blame if you cannot find any work outside the routine you're currently
in.
