I can get Win2K server with a 5 user license for 1190
$Can if I pay retail up here ... thats 777 $US.
As for VS.NET pro ... it's only $Can 850 for the
upgrade and $US 549 at Amazon. $969 full price.
Thats the OS + SQL 2000 (not too many users) + toolset
for well under $US 2000. Unlimited users if you write
your application as a web app. (OK I admit the MSDE may
not make it with hundreds of users.)
And then go look up .Net on Monster.com.
Is Axiant and PH Web really only $US 750? Thats a great
price ... but what other components do you need to make
it work?
