If you want to get a feel for SQL server before you start moving data around
you can create a MSSQL Linked Server to your HP3000 data using the Minisoft ODBC
driver. That allows you to execute Transact SQL statements againts Image.
Or better yet, do comparative queries against MSSQL and Image
(or any other database for that matter) simultaneously.
The ODBClink/se driver doesn't work for that.

When you do start moving data, get to know MS Data Transformation Services
in MSSQL Enterprise Manager.

The most prolific MSSQL newsgroup on the web is www.sqlteam.com .
This one for powerhouse :)

Turbo Image supports hyphens in the field names. If you have any of those in
your database you'll need to encapsulate your field names in square brackets
[field-name] or change it to field_name.

Clustering is Microsoft's version of high availability.
