Alternatively, you can put the offending line break in a column of its own,
and use longer lines:

When you can't fit any more fields on the 255 char line, put
'","' skip '","' ...
Excel will then join the lines as it loads, putting the line break generated
by skip in as a column of its own. A quick and dirty way beyond the 255 char
limit.
