Since you don't have any file or record definitions in your PDL perhaps the
easiest way to get all of your element definitions into your Axiant
workspace/repository is to use the PDL import option. By default this and
the other single file import options are disabled, but can be re-enabled by
using the Windows REGEDIT program to add a new key to the Windows Registry.
An article explaining how to do this appeared in the January-March 2001
edition of Supportlink (Vol.11 No.1). The archive of this edition is
available on-line to supported customers at
http://support.cognos.com/supportlink/archives/archives_vol11no1.html. Just
click on the article called "Restoring Single File Import Menu Items in
Cognos Axiant 4GL 3.0" in the Application Development section at the end of
the page.
If you don't currently have a support contract, and hence access to the
supported customer area of the Cognos web site, please drop me an e-mail
privately and I will send you a PDF version of that specific article.
Best regards,

Subject: about axiant and elements
HI..
I have a pdl file with only elements (no tables),
and I wish to migrate it in to my workspace, but
after making the migration profile, I cant find
where migrate the elements to the element library.
Thanks Alex
