Your understanding is correct.
As to "why" it's done, well, there are reasons, but they're business
reasons and
every business has its own special requirements. That's how we keep our

so when creating new record
does this means that once i have enter a value the 'T-QTY' field and come
out of the field ,i can't change it' s value again,
what's use of this,
why stop user from changing the field,
pls correct me if i m wrong
