These are "standard" PDF files that we've been loading for a few years -
nothing different. I even tried extracting a current PDF from the RDB DB
and loading it again - no go.
No DB errors are being reported, no dumps, etc..
The PDFs we are trying to load vary in size from 12K to 40K.
thnx.

These are just some of-the-cuff questions that come to mind. Maybe as you
follow them up, something will become apparent or occur to you.
Is there something different about the particular file you're trying to load
into that praticular blob field?
Is the process hiding some error that the database is issuing? Perhaps the
table is out of storage space?
If you load a very small PDF, does it work?

Hi all. We have an older process that has been working well for the past
few years, which loads PDF files into our RDB database into a BLOB using the
"do blob" command (quick). It suddenly stopped working in the last week and
will not load the files.
The process compiles fine; it runs fine (does the command) with NO errors,
but the file is simply not stored, even after the put/commit??? (I've run
it in the debugger to check)
Any ideas what's happenning? To further complicate this, the process has
not been changed for two years and OTHER "do blobs" into other tables are
working fine!
thnx
