FREE Cognos User Day Event - Register Today

yes - very sad.  Unfortunately, this lends fuel to the "Powerhouse is 
dieing" theory.

Maybe Cognos should Cognos consider having a separate User Group 
Convention, even if it is on a smaller scale?  Maybe in Chicago, an 
easy city to get to from most places in the states, and where there is 
still a somewhat concentrated amount of Powerhouse usage?  For the 
international community, I don't know where would be best.  

I could see there being no user group activity at all if there hadn't 
been any new releases in years, and if PH Web didn't exist. But it's 
not like there isn't any movement within Cognos in the Powerhouse 
arena...there's the new 8.43 release on the way, and Powerhouse Web 
seems to be a happening thing.
