When you are running the screen in Quick, you can go into the field and type
? or ??. That will tell you the size.
I notice that in an earlier posting your field statement has "display" on
it. So you won't be able to do the above, or use control-B to get to the end
of the text. Take out the "display". It stops users from accessing the
field - it means "display only", but you said you wanted them to be able to
edit it. You will then be able to use control-B, and use the arrow keys to
go back through the text line by line.
It might be worth looking up "blob" - this is a storage format for large
data items, even photographs! If your blob is plain text, you can edit it
using any available text editor, which would make it much easier to reach
the part you want to edit than the rather limited editing powers of Quick.
