Good afternoon <CDT> to the -L...

After 4+ weeks pursuing what looked to be a good opportunity here in
Chicago, I've just learned that it's <insert favorite adult adjective =
here>
fallen thru. So I post again, e-hat in hand...

Over 18 years in IT programming, administering systems, staff and =
projects,
documenting all manner of applications, significant 'break/fix' =
experience.
COBOL, Cognos Powerhouse, HP3000 software and utilities and most 3rd =
party
utility packages. I've worked on VAX, RS/6000 some UNIX and a bit of =
IBM
big iron. Excellent communications skills, able to get up to speed =
quickly
on projects.

Any assistance in this arena would be, again, most appreciated......I'm
unsure as to whether this job market sucks enough.....I'd like to stay
within shouting distance of Chicago <drive home on the wknd, if =
necessary>
but times are tough.

Thanks to all!
