question on Debug

In OpenVMS 7.10G1 I've found that if I compile the screen in one step from
the DCL prompt i.e.
$QDESIGN DEBUG AUTO=screen_name NOLIST
then the lines displayed and executed in debug match up.
If I do it in 2 steps - 
$QDESIGN DEBUG
use screen_name

I get the same problem you describe.

Has anybody experienced this problem in Debug?  (HP-UX 11.0, PH813d3)

Screen is pretty basic, with a master table coming in, a primary, and some
designer tables.

When we try to step through debug on the screen, the display stops on
commented and blank lines, which we've never seen before.

Also, it appears as though the lines displayed are not the ones that are
actually being executed.  Example, we see the edit procedure on field #1
display before we see the prompt for the field.  But the edits for field #1
resolve as expected.

Appreciate any and all suggestions.
