Designated files

I'm sure you've seen the messages on here about downloading the latest
manuals. The PH Rules book has the designated files.

That said, I can confirm that QKIN and QKECHO are still QUICK designated
files. QKIN is the optional QUICK terminal input file. If this file exists,
then QUICK gets all of it's input from this file. QKECHO is the optional
QUICK user response file. It's an output file that QUICK echoes all user
entries to.

In practical use, the QKECHO file is set up to capture a "session". That
session is then replayed be pointing QKIN to the file saved as QKECHO. QKOUT
is the QUICK terminal output file. If you're running QUICK in "batch" using
QKIN, the on MPE/iX, set QKOUT to $NULL.

Subject: Designated files

HP3000, PowerHouse 7.29C

I am looking for the list of PowerHouse designated files. The manual set
that I have is 7.29 <sigh>

In particular, I need to confirm that QKIN and QKECHO are input and output
files used by QUICK. Also, I wonder whether it is possible to make QKECHO
(by whatever name) a message (MSG) file.

Thank you.
