NM KSAM in PDL

I'd just like to point out that you can very quickly find this sort of
information by searching the PDF collection of PowerHouse Books. Just add
the provided multi-document index (PH_INDEX.PDX, found in the "refbooks"
subdirectory where you installed the PowerHouse Books) to the list of
searchable indexes in the Acrobat Reader software (Edit | Search | Select
Indexes...). Once this index is added you can use the Edit | Search |
Query... option to look for any word or phrase you like across the entire
PowerHouse 4GL Series 8 Books documentation set.

For anyone who does not yet have the latest 3rd Edition of the PowerHouse
4GL Series 8 Books (specifically covering versions 8.30 for OpenVMS and 8.39
for MPE/iX), you can download an installation kit from:

How does one define a NM KSAM file in PDL?  The current definition is for
the CM KSAM file.  QTP updates seem to work, but QUIZ reports of the file
show no updates have occurred.
