Hi Roger,

Can you add more to this information like what types of files you are using
and what types of files you want on the AS/400?

If you have the files defined already on the AS/400, you can use GENPDLSRC
to generate the PDL for you. If you have the PDL and it is set up for the
AS/400 files types you can just create the files you need through PHDFM.

Subject: PowerHouse Dictionary on AS/400

Good Day All,

We have been running PH on Alpha/OpenVMS for years, and are now considering
getting it for our AS/400. How does the dictionary work on the AS/400?
Specifically, what is involved with getting file difinitions into the PH
dictionary? Is it a manual data entry process, or is there some automatic
way to generate PDL?

Thanks!
