Leonard,

I recollect having something similar happen with an early version (C4 I
think). Upgraded to C5 and it went away. Upgraded our 8.19 copy to the
?last? release (D7) a few weeks ago and that looks very stable. Had no
problems with it at all.

I encounter the following error consistenty when compiling a dictionary.
Consistently, every other time, that is.

 Code Trap :
  11326000040
  00004415043
  00000002037
  00000000022
*E* Memory fault (invalid address).
*Fatal Error* *1065* Notify Cognos Customer Support

Do you want a QDUMP file produced?(Y/N)n

After the error, I attempt to compile again and there is no error. I make a
change and compile: Error then No Error.

I no longer generate the QDUMP file.

I am not dead in the water, but is there any explanation?
