QSHOW Data Dictionary

You are correct about it being new in 8.39.  The ability to redirect QSHOW
output to a disc file was there in 7.10 (OpenVMS) and when we were porting
over the OpenVMSisms to the 8.3x code base we decided to open it up to all
platforms.

If you've got a new enough release you can use "set report device disc" in
Qshow. Works in 8.39, not in 8.19. I think it's new in 8.39 but will happily
be corrected.

Otherwise you could set the output to a spool file and then fiddle it into a
regular disc file with your choice of editors or other manipulation tools.
