Hi all,
I gave the wrong impression to you all in the email below regarding 2Gig+
file access with cisam. In fact Development are looking into this
enhancement for 8.43, it is not yet decided if it will be present. Target
customer availability for 8.43 on AIX is March/April of 2002.

age this seems pretty archaic to me. Has anyone had experience with such a
system? Are there scalability and file locking issues? What about
contention and/or possible corruption of files?
Not knowing much about it does PH talk directly to the files? Or does it
use something else as an intermediary to handle the I/O?
