Auto replies

The difficulty is that I can't find a rule to RESTRICT what is going OUT. I
can do all kinds of things to the message coming in, and I can send extra
stuff, but the option to auto-reply or not, seems to missing from my
"action" option.

Since this list server software appends a standard "final footing" :-) to
each message [look at then end of this one -- there should be 3 copies of it
by now!] could you exclude your out of office reply based on some portion of
the text in this footer? The Lookout out of office assistant allows you to
specify text strings in the message body and you can negate the selection
with a check box under "advanced".
