Our network whiz (and I call him that with great respect) at the time tried a bunch of stuff but found no resolution to it at the individual level. However, you can kill it at the server level if you're willing to let it become corporate policy (which we did). As to the details, I couldn't tell you. I think it's just a select switch on the server though, sounded like it was a pretty simple thing.
