G'day Johan

I think you would need to use JavaScript for this. If you store the GIF
file name in the same record as the source of FIELDVALUE then you could pass
this info to the JavaScript function in the HTML file.

Alternatively you might tried deriving a GIF or BMP file name from the
actual data. E.g., if FIELDVALUE = 'TOMATO' then in a TEMP item create the
file name as 'tomato.gif' and pass this to the JavaScript

I you don't want to use JavaScript then how about a system command that
copies the appropriate GIF or BMP file to a common name just before
displaying the data? E.g. RUN COMMAND "COPY tomato.gif johan.gif". Then
you could use the standard HTML tags to display the picture.

I haven't tried it but it might work.

Regards,
Blue

Dear List users,

Does anyone have a powerhouse web technique for displaying images based on
the value of a field. Example : fieldvalue = TOMATO --> a tomato is
displayed.

Thanks,
Johan Koelewijn
