QUIZ record EOF truncates blanks

I doubt it's the quiz, OR the file.
It's what you used to "examine" it. Most editors will apply a CR after the
last non-blank field.

Try...

FCOPY from=yourfile;to=$stdlist;HEX;CHAR

and see what you get...

Subject: QUIZ record EOF truncates blanks

Greetings to the -L...

I have a fairly straightforward QUIZ proc which outputs a disc file. The
last 6x bytes of the record are defined conditionally (CHA*6) and as such
aren't always going to be blank.

When :LISTF,2 is run, the disc file shows correct rec len. When I examine
rec contents, a carriage return is coming up BEFORE my conditional CHA*6
field.

What did I neglect to prevent this?

T I A!!
