Sorry - my imprecision in language...

Car dealer: "The 2001 PHenderBlaster 100 is 50% faster than the 2000
model!"

Buyer: "But it has no passenger seats! Why did you remove them?"

Dealer: "The 2001 model is based on our race car, which only has a driver's
seat, not our passenger car."

Buyer: "But the 2000 PHenderBlaster had great seats! Isn't it silly to have
removed them in the 2001?"

Dealer: "It never HAD them! That was the 2000 model! This year's model
isn't based on that one!"

<sigh> Marketing... :-)

...(Just to remind Bill, the "VMSisms" weren't removed from
Series 8...they were never there to start with as Series 8 started life on
UNIX and MPE/iX.)
