Trapping DATA ACCESS ERROR

I know that QUIZ sets the JCW to WARN1 if:

     The maximum number of records has been selected.

What does QUIZ set for

      *E* Data access error. (OLD-CLAIM)
      *E*  (OLD-CLAIM)

It certainly does not abort.
