PDL: suppressing warning messages

Leonard,

Those have bugged me for years.

I have never tried this, but could you delete the message from the file that contains the message (QKMSGE?)  I don't know if this would generate a 'message not found' message or not.

In recompiling our PHD the screen is cluttered with numerous instance of the
following message:

*W* The storage type and size may be too small for some values.

Out of 349 warnings, 291 are of this type. There are 13 "duplicate" definitions,
but with some work, we can remove those. The others have to do with TurboImage
keys that have verbiage that relates to indexed files, and we probably could
clean those up as well.

Yes, I know I can suppress all warnings with SET NOWARN, but that might cause me
to ignore some other warning that may have significance for our applications.

So is there a way to suppress just this message? Is this pie in the sky?
