Quite right Martin, although we are looking to support other image formats
in the Axiant 3.4 release later this year. Under consideration are GIF, JPEG
and PNG.

We're using axiant on the 3000, which we use successfully with images.

What you can do with samba on the 3000, is map a part of the 3000, so it
appears like a windows directory, then you can put your axiant forms and
bitmaps on the 3000.

This is also a good practise because otherwise, you have to put them on a pc
server which, I've found, tend to need re-booting more times than the 3000.

Also, I think I'm right in saying that Axiant will only work with .bmp files
