Enhancement Requests

Conrad,

Here is an idea.  Since so many people have their own requirements for
functions, allow the developer to develope custom external functions
callable via Quick, Quiz and QTP.  Quick has a version of this already via
the DO EXTERNAL action.

Perhaps we could have something like:

	define fixedstr char*20 = EXTERNAL.myfunction(var1,var2,...).

I like this kind of approach because it means we don't have to wait 2-3
years to see if Cognos adds something we are looking for.  We can add it
WHEN WE NEED IT.


Another one is, let me use DECODE() in Oracle cursors.  If there is a way
to allow us to pass such functions through to the database engine, then
please let us.
