QDD Dictionaries are no longer supported in PH 8.29. I'm can't remember if
the release and install notes for 8.29 say anything about that but I know we
mention it in the PH Web notes for 2.29. Now I'm not sure that this explains
the QDUMP. I would have hoped for a nicer message, however, it is unlikely
that the QDUMP will be fixed.
I suggest using QSHOW 8.19 to do the GEN.

Hi all,
A topic that undoubtedly has arisen on many an occasion.

Do you want a QDUMP file produced?(Y/N)N
RUN QSHOW.PH829D.COGNOS;INFO=""; XL=" *PHLIBXL *ORDBA
ORACLEXL.PUB.ORACLEM"
Program terminated in an error state. (CIERR 976)

I was kinda hoping someone could explain the qdump. (yeah sure, and the next
lottery numbers will be .....)
I can get it to convert by using QDDtoPDL, but this method does not keep as
much info in the source file as the 'GEN ALL' method.
No great shakes, except that I've used the 'GEN ALL' method before with no
problems.
I'm running 829d on MPE/IX 6.5 for info.
Thanks for all and any,
Kevin
