I'm doing an Oracle RDB to Oracle Financials data conversion, and something
I've
found helps a bit is to put the data in Portable Subfile format, then a simply
VMS Convert with an FDL to make the TXT file, then SQL Loader into Oracle.
The portable subfile, converts numbers to Zoned (really a character) for me
and saves a step or two.
