A jobwide logical will work, but the SETSYSTEMVAL function is a much better
way of defining logicals from Powerhouse than RUN COMMAND. Using that you
can go back to using a process logical (but it won't necessarily be
available in a subprocess, if you still need one).

The other hazard to be wary of is if Quick has already opened or cached the
relevant file, and doesn't re-translate the filename.
