Quiz problem (QDUMP)

Listers,

We're having a strange problem occur with a Quiz routine: It will sporadically run in a job, and always interactively. We're on version 7.29.C8 on a brand new HP e3000-979, MPEi/X version 6.5.

The routine has been run any number of ways in a job and almost always fails with the same error message.

Originally, the subfile statement had a PORTABLE on it  -- it was going to another system and the author wanted to convert numerics to ASCII. Now, we're just trying to get it to work.

Any thoughts by anyone????
