Editor Question

Mark,
I say this with all ernestness in that since we have
history and are friends I'll share my experience with
you and the members of this thread. When we worked
together it was a time when Ux was on our plate and
the vi editor was the tool of choice at that site. I
liken its abilities to the line editor I so enjoyed
back in 1974. In fact, after two hours of vi usage, I
was absolutely convinced it was the same editor. I'm
sure several editor developers throughout the history
of Ux development tools wanted to make a good editor.
Something universal, like Ux. But, that's not going to
happen is it? Universal? How long will IT people
believe in marketing fantasies?
