Hello listers. 

I will reiterate some of what Conrad Whittall, our Marketing Manager, wrote
in January of this year in response to a question about support for V4R5.

"While it is true that Cognos currently has no plans to enhance the
functionality of the AS/400 version of PowerHouse 4GL, we do still fully
support the 6.07F version of the product. This means that we provide full
telephone and web-based technical support (through the customer support
portal at http://support.cognos.com), and will correct any serious product
issues while maintaining both operating system and data access compliance."

This statement continues to be true. Any change to this statement will be
communicated to our customers. 

As an additional FYI, we have tested PowerHouse 6.07F on V4R5, and have
found no compatibility issues. 

OS/400 V5R1 is not yet released by IBM. I understand that it is due for
release in May of this year. We are making plans to test PowerHouse 6.07F on
this newest version of the OS. However, this work is not currently
scheduled, nor will it be until the OS is actually released to Cognos. I
also do not yet have any clear information on the upward compatibility of
this OS, however, I would be surprised if it were not fully upward
compatible. If I receive any further information I will be pleased to share
with you.

Will COGNOS ( Powerhouse version 6.07F) be supported under V5R1 of  AS/400 ?

How much support can we count on?

Will any of the exist " Random Features" be address if a patch was required
for
V5R1?

Could someone at COGNOS or anyone who knows please respond
