QUICK automatic warning message

LETs in the FIND procedure will not cause a record status change. The
downside is that the PUT verb is conditioned based on record status so it
wouldn't write the record. You'd still have to make a change in the
PREUPDATE procedure plus you'd be changing one of the default procedures and
you know how we feel about that :-)

I believe if you do your 'LET' in the Find procedure instead of the Postfind
you won't get that message.

     Has anyone an idea how to prevent the QUICK message "Data has been 
     changed but not updated. Repeat the action if this is ok." to be 
     programatically NOT show.  I've a POSTFIND process that retrieves a 
     DESIGNER file's record and when not found, does a few LETs to items in 
     it. 
     
     When the screen user decides not to do an Update and just do another 
     FIND, I want no automatic warning message to show.  Am I missing 
     something obvious?
