Mark,
I think there is a version of PGP (poss. from GNU) that will run under VMS.
Try that.

Subject: Transferring QTP built files and Internet security
G'day all...
I created a batch job that contains a QTP run that created a file with
finanicial information. This financial flat file contains a list of people
who havn't pay their bills so off they're going to a collection agency. I
want to send the file in the same batch job using some FTP script. The
problem is there are some government regulations that say the file must be
encrypted so it doesn't fall into the wrong hands on the way over to the
outside agency. Is there a way to encrypt the file in a VMS environment? Is
there anything Compaq has for this I could grab their FTP site? It would
make it pretty slick process. FTPing the file up to a PC would require some
manual input. I'm shooting for total automation here.
Thanks in advance,
Mark Stewart
