ODBC Driver for RMS

I use a product called Connx (supplied by Solutions IQ - you can find
further details on the Cognos Web Site) which works successfully.

It is in production on both Windows 95 and Windows NT PC's reading data from
an Alpha running OpenVMS where the RMS files actually hold data for a
PowerHouse application.

As you can probably guess, there are a few minor technical issues that you
need to be aware of in order to get it to translate date fields etc.  But I
have always managed to get it to read data OK (it is possible to get Connx
to write data back to RMS!).

I use it mainly as an ODBC link to sit Impromptu over the PowerHouse
application...

As we do not use Axiant I cannot make any comment
