QUTIL Question

QUTIL is discussed briefly in the PDL and Utilities reference.

But you can type HELP after you enter QUTIL to find syntax.

QUTIL will use BUILD default of 1023 records if capacity is not specified in the
dictionary.

You can override defaults by specifying desired capacity as follows:

:QUTIL
> CREATE FILE FILE80 CAPACITY 2000
 STARTING ACCOUNT USERTEST  GROUP RMARCIN
Definition from record FILE80 is used to create file FILE80.
Create for MPE file FILE80 written to source.

You can also use MPEX ALTFILE to alter a file capacity.
