Qshow field Headings

G'day George

I think you will have to do SHOW ELEMENT elementname for each element you
are interested in on the record.  In the VMS environment the PHD is stored
in ISAM files and you can write a Quiz program to report on the metadata.
Short of this you will have to reply on the QSHOW comands.

Ahoy there!  I've got a question.  In using Qshow (SHOW RECORDS
filename) it
nicely shows you the
field name, type, etc.  Is there a way to make it show you the field
heading.
On our  system field names
are not descriptive enough.
