Carol,

Does this same strategy apply to PH 4GL on NT?  And how about the Thin
Client Access license and the Data Access license?

Hi Ray. Here is an excerpt from the installation instructions:

"The OpenVMS SUBMIT commands can be used to submit jobs to the batch queue.
The batch queue has a terminal name associated with it that is different
from the terminal that the job is submitted from so it therefore requires
another license. However the terminal name for all batch queues is the same,
so if the same user has several batch jobs running simultaneously (submitted
from the same user ID), these jobs only require one license."

So the answer lies in whether the same user has submitted all 5 batch jobs.
If all 5 are submitted by the same user, then they only take one license. If
submitted by 5 separate users, then they require 5 licenses.

We are using Powerhouse v 7.10.G2.

Can someone tell me that if I have a 15 user license and there are 5 batch
jobs running can I then have 15 users logged on or can I only have 10 ??
