PowerHouse licensing

G'day all

Through DECUS, a member can get a free (post P&H) hobby license for OpenVMS,
language compilers and a freeware/shareware CD of good software tools and
applications.

To Cognos: Is it possible that through CIUG members could get a similar
deal for Cognos software, especially PowerHouse and Axiant?

I have a personal VaxStation 4000/VLC as a hobby machine. I would love to
be able to run PowerHouse on it, especially with an Axiant front end. This
way I can 'play' with the tools in my own time to learn more rather than
having to rely on a generous and understanding employer/client.

I picked up a HP 9000 box at an auction cheap as well. There are plenty of
old machines around now that are affordable (<USD500) to 'hobby' users.

What do y'all think (I've been in Texas too long :) )?
