Compiled vs Uncompiled Quiz

One advantage to using un-compiled Quiz is the ability to add variable source
code to the quiz routine on the fly. Many of our Quiz reports use STREAMX
from Vesoft to prompt the user for various report parameters. The answers to
each prompt triggers logic to insert either the users answer or other answer
dependent logic into the Quiz routine. Using STREAMX loop constructs I have
even built Quiz source code complete with variable field definitions and
report elements.
It allows you to build a much more flexible program. Certainly more flexible
than simply relying on PARM prompts! Of course, this is in an MPE/iX
environment, I am assuming it would also apply to other environments as well.
